We’re excited to share that Sarah Young, Managing Partner of NATIONAL’s Atlantic offices, has been named one of the Top 50 CEOs in Atlantic Canada by Atlantic Business Magazine, an honour bestowed to Atlantic Canada’s most accomplished business leaders. Nominations are submitted by Atlantic Business Magazine readers and nominees are judged according to their corporate, community and industry involvement; their company’s growth in recent years; and, their responses to various managerial challenges.
Sarah has earned this for many reasons. She has led and grown a strong business. Her community involvement is a model for others. More than once she has led the firm in new directions, meeting new industry challenges. She’s done all this as a leader in this business since 2001, and as National’s Managing Partner of Atlantic Canada for over two years.
In addition, Sarah has become a significant voice of leadership across the broader firm, leading the Talent Working Group and contributing on the business plan, having an impact right across the continent (and across the pond). Most importantly, Sarah’s proudest moments come from setting people up to do their best work, and building fantastic teams capable of doing great things.
She does all this with great humour, an infectious laugh, true friendship, and inspiring optimism. For her team at NATIONAL, she is the true essence of a leader by listening, guiding and challenging everyone around her to be their best.
Congratulations Sarah!
