Working together

Feather Winter

Today, it's no exaggeration to say that no major project will see the light of day without first engaging in conversation with the First Peoples, integrating their perspective or envisaging a partnership with them. Decidedly, the traditional way of doing business, conducting projects or looking at territorial development is a thing of the past.

Governments are responding to this trend by making a firmer and more sincere commitment to reconciliation. This is reflected in new policies favouring the participation of First Nations and Inuit or in certain requirements that must be met by anyone wishing to do business with the State or obtain authorizations.

At NATIONAL, we believe in building relationships based on trust, respect and recognition. We believe in mutually beneficial partnerships. We believe in an approach that is "by, for and with" Nations and communities. practice and cutting-edge expertise.
