NATIONAL and Alliance Pipeline have been named the CPRS Silver award winners for Canadian Issues/Crisis Management Campaign of the Year. This award goes to projects that exhibit “proactive planning and preventative action during an extraordinary event.” The “extraordinary event” in this case was the Regina Bypass Project, the largest transportation infrastructure project in Saskatchewan’s history.
This project involved a week-long shut down of an Alliance pipeline to allow for the installation of new, heavier pipes. NATIONAL was responsible for media training, monitoring and outreach, as well as social media strategy and community and regulator consultation. NATIONAL and Alliance have been applauded for their “early stakeholder engagement” on this project.
