Diving into AI: Two colleagues share their experience at ALL IN

The ALL IN conference, a must-attend event for the artificial intelligence industry, recently took place in Montreal. Organized by Scale AI, Mila, and CEIMIA, it brought together over 4,000 participants from 40 countries, including leading AI solution providers and Canada's top 100 AI startups. Here are the impressions of two colleagues from AVENIR GLOBAL, NATIONAL's parent company.

I had the immense privilege of participating in the 2024 edition of ALL IN in Montreal. Over these two days, we were provided with a wealth of information, allowing us to discover the advancements made both locally and globally, and to better understand how these innovations support the daily work of professionals across various fields.

What particularly struck me was Canada's strength in talent. Several experts positioned Canada as a leader in creating AI specialists on the world stage. However, I also became aware of the challenges we must address as a country, including retaining experts, commercializing innovations, and establishing our place as a global leader in this rapidly evolving field.

Events like this are crucial not only for expanding our knowledge but also for building our network. Interacting with professionals from diverse backgrounds allows us to gain new perspectives and develop our skills, which is essential for innovation and staying competitive in a constantly evolving sector.

By immersing ourselves in a dynamic and inspiring environment, we can better draw inspiration and stimulate our creativity. These conferences have enabled me to push my thinking further and apply these insights to my projects within the Firm. ALL IN was an enriching experience that allowed me to learn and draw inspiration from current innovations and challenges to promote the use of AI in my daily work. I leave with my mind brimming with ideas!

The ALL IN conference, a must-attend event for the artificial intelligence industry, recently took place in Montreal. I'm very grateful that my manager and leader at AVENIR GLOBAL, Valérie Beauregard, allowed me to attend this major event. As a business leader, she encourages the relationship between my field, which is corporate communications, and the development of AI tools, a sector in which AVENIR GLOBAL already has expertise thanks to a team of in-house experts who develop tailor-made solutions.

At the event, I was impressed by the breadth of advances presented at the numerous conferences. The 200 or so thought leaders shared their visions and expertise, offering a captivating insight into the revolutionary applications of AI in various sectors.

Beyond the technical discussions, I was able to deepen my understanding of the ethical issues involved in adopting these technologies. This immersion convinced me of the transformative potential of AI and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration to make the most of it responsibly. I came away with a renewed perspective and motivated to integrate these cutting-edge tools into my work.

I highly recommend communicators to attend this kind of event, as beyond the sessions, the informal discussions really contributed to strategic thinking in our own integration of AI within AVENIR GLOBAL. This kind of opportunity is rare and invaluable.
