NATIONAL Public Relations is looking for a Director with deep Consumer and Corporate Communications experience to join our team.
Qualifications
- 8 - 10 years of Consumer Brand PR and Corporate Communications experience
- Relevant educational background in communications, public relations, marketing, or advertising
- Demonstrated results leading marketing, communications and earned media programs as well as executing as part of an integrated communications team
- Aptitude in translating data into insight and insight into strategic approach and tactical execution
- A self-starter with the ability to balance strategic thinking with plan development and execution
- Ability to provide strategic counsel and support for clients across business sectors, including automotive, financial services, and professional services, among others
- Experience in responding to RFPs and participating in new business pitches
- Exceptional people management and mentorship skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables concurrently
- Ability to oversee quality control of team assignments including writing, pitches, proposals and reports
- Ability to take a multi-stakeholder approach, working across various verticals including consumer, corporate and employee communications, including leading out on CEO positioning
- Ability to manage multi-faceted client accounts, including developing work plans and budgets, delivering high-quality work
- Experience developing and executing media relations strategies, especially with consumer, business, trade and finance journalists
- Experience developing strong consumer, and corporate content including press releases, thought leadership/opinion editorials, and corporate messaging
- Significant experience conceptualizing and leading influencer marketing programs
- Experience working on conversion focused marketing programs that leverage public relations tools
- Excellent writing, editing and research skills required
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills required
