With nearly a decade of experience in journalism, and bylines across Canadian media that include The Globe and Mail, The Canadian Press, and The Narwhal, Jake is intimately connected to the political milieu and to news media across Canada.

At NATIONAL Jake regularly services clients across the Firm providing insights, expertise and knowledge relevant to Western Canada and British Columbia. He currently provides government relations, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs support to SAS, Keurig Dr Pepper, Canada, the Breakfast Club of Canada, and the Commission for Environmental Cooperation, among many others.

Prior to joining the Firm, Jake led media relations and public affairs for one of Canada's longest-running music festivals.

Jake is a proud graduate of the University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria, where he received his BA and MA in the history of science and technology, specializing in media and the contemporary history of Vancouver's Georgia Straight, the most prosecuted newspaper in Canadian history.
